He specializes in the construction and operation of machines including gas turbines and windmills. He supervised a team of young researchers that worked on projects for industrial companies (Dresser-Rand, Faurecia, PSA Citroen&Peugeot, Eurocopter –now Airbus Helicopters). He was visiting professor Imperial College London, University of Ghent, University of Liberec and University of Leeds.
