Scientist and innovation leader. In 2026, he became rector of the Polytechnic University of Turin, after serving as Director of the Agency for Innovative Development (2023–2026). He previously held roles as Deputy Minister of Innovative Development (2019–2021) and Deputy Director General of the Agency for Science and Technology. He was awarded the Shukhrat Medal in 2013 for his contributions to robotics and promoting the field among young people.
